the issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad... I would suggest you to try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again. But if you tried that and it doesn't work just call up their support number and check for replacement.
Hi, I know this might sound really bad but have you made sure that you have taken ALL the little bits of plastic and covers that are sometimes on the new cartidges?
Also are you using the exact same cartridge as before?
Another thing you could do to bypass the problem is to have your one refilled. That will at least fix the problem for the immediate.
Does your printer have some software where you can run a clean print head and do an align and other stuff. If so you could try those too.
Lets us know.
You mention two problems, are they both still active?
The memory card issue could be a defective card; I've had brand new cards not work a number of times. It could also be a defective card reader in the printer but its more likely the memory card may simply need to be re-formatted.
- Save any pictures you may have on the card to your PC if you need to keep them.
- Format the card using the camera utilities. Do not use the computer to perform the format.
- Try it again.
If formatting the card doesn?t do it you might try another card you know works. If it does work in your printer then its probably the card, if not that strongly suggest the printer card reader is at fault.
