SOURCE: Canon IR210s copier

Are you sure you have the right toner??? It says it is for the IR-200-210 or dose it say IR-330 & IR- 400? If you look on the inside front door cover there are pictures showing how to install the toner, also there are pictures on the box the toner came in and also the display sceen will walk you through on how to replace the toner.. It slips in only one way and push down on it till it locks in then pull the blue tab till it displays "STOP" then push it back in and the push on the black part on the front of the developer unit to release the toner bottle and close the copier back up and lok the blue lever to the left and you are done. Good Luck

The Waste Toner is located in the the drum unit it self. You need to remove the drum unit & on the top of the drum unit is a white or clear rectaular cap. You need to open it carefully and vac out the toner in side the unit. FYI if you are empting the waste toner the drum is just about worn out... Good Luck

SOURCE: How to remove drum scretch from Canon 6045 Copier

you cannot fix a line of a drum. If the drum is causing a line on copies you have to replace it. Any light or fingerprints can cause further problems. Look online or at your local canon dealer for the drum unit.

SOURCE: copier ha a message that says replace toner drum.

Hello,

It means that the internal drum unit is full of waste toner and that the drum is worn out too. The people at cannon made the drum unit to last when the waste toner internal compartment is full.

When you buy a new drum the instructions are in the box and very easy to install.

hope it helps

Place the cartridge upside down on the newspaper-covered surface and open the drum's shutter door, which contains hinges. Rotate the drum using the spindle on the side and wipe the drum's surface with the toner-covered flannel cloth to remove any dust, dirt and caked-on debris. The drum only rotates in one direction. Work quickly so as not to expose the drum to light. Artificial and natural light can damage the drum's surfac Step 4Continue rotating and wiping the drum's surface until it is free of any debris and dirt. Close the drum's shutter door and reinstall the cartridge back in your Canon copier.

It is important to state the make and model of a printer to get better help. You may have a canon and some of the canons get a stuck laser shutter which will cause blank copies.

I'm guessing you used a compatable toner/drum cartridge. It sounds like you have a bad cartridge. If its a refilled drum cartridge its bad, either the drum blade is bad or charging is bad. Take it, or send it back and get another one. I recommend genuine "Canon" products. All toners and units are not made to the same standard as the Canon products.

SAYS IT NEEDS TONER BUT IT IS FULL

When you last replaced the toner did you reset the alert on your printer? Every printer is different, some there are resets right on the toner cartridges themselves and others can be reset through the menu on the lcd of the printer.

TROUBLESHOOT

Waste toner is what gets scraped off the drum after the paper has passed. It eventually fills up inside a compartment in the drum. The drum is the unit that slides into the copier and the toner slides into the drum. In this type of copier it is meant for a technician to order and replace this drum. Try where you bought the copier from.

BLACK LINE ACROSS THE COPY CANON IMAGE 2200

Most likely your drum unit is worn out. If it reaches the yield of 50k or more, it starts to develop grooves in the drum and toner gets stuck in the groove and is applied to your pages. If you have a service company, they can change it for you. We sell the drum for $220.
