Follow these procedures to remove the back access cover on an Indesit WIE 167 washing machine and replace the belt:
Disconnect the washer from the electrical outlet and turn off the water supply.
Move the washing machine away from the wall so that the back can be accessed.
Find the screws that secure the rear access cover. Often, they are positioned throughout the cover's perimeter.
Remove the screws using a screwdriver and store them in a secure location.
Carefully remove the washing machine's back access cover. Using a flat instrument, such as a putty knife or a scraper, to pull the cover away from the machine may be useful.
Once the cover is removed, the belt should be accessible. Remove the old belt from the machine with care.
Put the replacement belt on both the motor and drum pulleys.
Align the back access panel with the washing machine and secure the screws to reattach it.
Reconnect the washing machine and activate the water supply.
Verify that the replacement belt works properly by putting the washing machine through a series of tests.
When servicing a washing machine, it is essential to observe all safety precautions. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable with any of these processes, it may be better to call a skilled technician or service center for assistance.
We had a problem with our dishwasher, it just went crazy one day and lights would light up but ours did not wash or anything...anyways upon further investigation found out by taking 6 large round head screws off,, the handle and outer cover came off, then there was a cover that was covering a circuit board and this was the brains of the washing machine, ordered the part from sears 160.00 and washer is all set. good luck. oh ya, upon further exam. when I took the board off could see discoloration on part of the circuit board. this means burned out resistor or fuse.
You
should wash your futon cover separately from other items. You need to ensure there is room in the
machine for it. Avoid using detergents
containing bleach. Wash the cover using
the cold wash/cold rinse cycle (unless label inscription suggests
otherwise). After the wash cycle is
complete, you can put the cover in the dryer and tumble dry on a low-heat
setting. I like to remove the cover
halfway through the drying cycle to flip it to ensure that it dries evenly.
To clean the filter what ya do is remove the lower rack unscrew the center wash tower off of the lower wash arm remove the screws from the pump cover (the almost frisbee shaped part with the stainer around the bottom of it) lift off the pump cover...directly below the pump cover will be the filter it will pull off and can be cleaned in the sink.
This is probably a lid cover open protection. Check to see if there is a magnet on the cover, positioned almost to centre (slightly to the right) at edge of the cover. There is some sort of plastic catch to house the magnet. If it is not there, place a magnet at the corresponding area on the washer where the plastic catch will touch when the lid cover close.
out of curiosity ?? what repair have you carried out and panel/s did you need to remove? what colour is cover and any screw?holes in it? alsoas prev question what make is machine
