Hi,

If you purchased the carseat without the bars, then this is a Cabrio and not a CabrioFix carseat, and nothing can be done to adapt this to become a CabrioFix.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

The Easy Fix Base is used for cars which have isofix points in their car. The Easy Base fits into your car using the seatbelt.
Both of these bases can be used ONLY for the CabrioFix Carseat and cannot be used for the next stage seat (Group 1).

I hope this helps.

Hi,

No, there is no base for the Safe to Go. Your best bet may be to use a CabrioFix car seat instead.

Hope this helps.

Why is the bottom of the isofix base is not level with the seat?

Hi Andrew

It is not possible to diagnose without inspection.

Was the unit approved for use in your vehicle on our online fitting list?

Was the unit physically fitted by a carseat fitter trained member of staff to confirm suitability prior to purchase?

Hi, when taking the maxi cosi seat off the isofix base the leaver snapped and now the seat is stuck on the base. Is there any way of getting the seat off?

Hi Kirsty - There is an override to remove the carseat but depending which base you have it may not be possible to do this override yourself. Please return to your retailer with your proof of purchase and the product for their assistance.

The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix can be fitted using the EasyFix base (IsoFix or seatbelt fitted) the EasyBase and EasyBase 2 (fitted with seatbelt only) or the FamilyFix base (IsoFix only). If you do not have IsoFix points you need either an EasyBase or EasyBase 2 to be fitted with seatbelt.
