Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix (Black Reflection) Infant Car Seat Questions & Answers
I have the isofix easy
Good Afternoon
On either side of the EasyFix base you will see a small square opening with the yellow IsoFix point showing through it. Take a flat head screwdriver and slide into this hole facing toward the front of the car and gently push the screwdriver handle so it ends up facing the rear of the car - this should unlock the IsoFix mechanism. You'll need to do it on both sides if both sides are stuck.
If this doesn't work, or once you have done this, take the base back to your retailer with your proof of purchase if it is under 2 years old and they will be able to assist.

What do i use to wash my car seat cover
I used a liquid washing tablet and did it on a cool wash in the washing machine. I found if I used washing powder it left white marks. Also, make sure you won't need it in a hurry as really you need to leave it to dry for about 48hrs.

Cleaning maxi-cosi cover
Hi
Fabric is designed to be removed for washing, either handwash or handwash / delicate cycle on washing machine is fine, maximum 30 degrees, ensure you use additional rinse and spin to completely remove all detergent residue as leftovers will dry and leave white marks.

Can u fit a maxi cosi car seat fit onto oyster frame
Hi
Maxi-Cosi do not produce adaptors for the carseats to be fitted on other manufacturers chassis. If there are adaptors to fit the Maxi-Cosi carseat to this model chassis they would be manufactured and sold by the manufacturer of the chassis, so you should contact them for assistance.

Carseat jammed to easy base 2
Try pressing down very hard on the seat while trying the release. If that does not work, call the manufacturer.Note: if this does release, check the seat belt for damage before using again. Also check that the belt path used to install the base is/was correct.-- Marc

How to remove maxi cosi cabrio harness straps
HiThe harness of a carseat should never be removed or replaced by anyone other than a trained engineer due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly replaced. The carseat fabric should be removed from this carseat and they can be washed - the harness itself should be cleaned in place in the carseat using a solution of stain remover and water and a small scrubbing brush or hard scourering pad to clean the harness. Excess water in the carseat should be dried immediately and thoroughly to prevent any parts rusting. Loose crumbs can be removed using a vacuum cleaner.Alternatively the carseat can be sent in for the engineers to replace with a new one. Inspection and single repair (replacement of the harness) plus safety checks and courier collection and repair can be booked for 39.99GBP if you're in the UK by calling 01284 413 141 Mon-Thur 8.30-6.30 / Fri 8.30-4.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays)
