Where is the printer paper tray on Brother MFC 9600

Most of the time it's located on the bottom of the printer. If it's the same as your picture, just grab where it arches up and pull outward and the paper tray should come out.

How to change fax speed from14.4 to 9600

The machine does this automatically on connection. It negotiates a reliable connection speed with the recipient machine and then transmits data. If in encounters an error repeatedly it will negotiate the speed down even further until the data can be sent successfully. However the following menu setup option may help

Main MenuFaxSetup SendOverseas ModeOn will change the speed down to 9600 max and negotiate downwards if required.

Brother MFC 9600 won't pull paper from tray

There are rollers that cling on to the paper and move it through the machine. When the rollers are worn down they do not grip the paper. For a short fix you can get something rough like sandpaper, brillo pad, etc, and gently scratch the rollers to give them some traction. This will temporarily solve your problem until you can get the rollers replaced.
