What batterys go in stanley intellitape 77-008

You need 3 CR2450 3v Lithium "coin batteries". They go in with the + sign up. The batteries usually run about $3.50 - $4.00 each, but I just got a pack of 10 from amazon.com for $4.99 & free shipping!

Once you have installed the batteries, slide the cover back on over them from the open edge until it clicks into place. If yours is anything like mine, the retaining screw is long gone. It isn't even necessary, unless you are prone to dropping your tape and the cover will pop off and send the batteries scattering everywhere. Fortunately, I had a jar of small screws sitting around and actually had a screw that fit mine.

HI Can i use the xp180 on the floor to hang curtain rails

It is a good laser, but it is self leveling so you will have trouble setting it on the floor and be able to title it. It will probably go into error mode and the laser will flash telling you that it isn't level.

Suggest a step ladder that is about the right height.

Your printer is in Error mode.. Specially with black ink empty message. HP Printer is designed in such manner that it will not allow you do to anything if it gives cartridge error message on printer screen.

you will have to replace the cartridge and align the printer to get it working.

How to change the battery on a stanley intellitape 77-008?

On the back of the unit in the left down corner are two screws. The bottom one (smallest) of the two has to be removed and then you can slide out the bottom part where the batteries are.

Mine did the same thing. To fix it I extended the tape all the way out. As I retracted the tape it started working. Try it and let me know if this worked for you.

According to the manual, fully retract the tape. That will reset the unit to zero. I extended the blade a little on mine and pushed it back in all the way with a little force and that cleared the error for me. I need to repeat that procedure every time I turn it on.
