Where can I get a new remote for this system?

It would be simpler to buy a new remote for the 321 system. Spares for this system are not very expensive. A remote will probably cost less than £20.

You can access the answering system remotely by dialing your home telephone number from any touch-tone telephone. To remotely access the answering system
Dial your telephone number from any touch-tone telephone. When the answering system answers, enter the two-digit remote access code (19, unless you have changed it). The answering system automatically announces the number of messages (new or old) if there are any. NOTES: If you do not enter a valid remote access code, the system answers the call automatically. If the date and time is not set when a message is recorded, the system announces, "Time and date not set" before the answering system announces the number of messages. If there are no new messages in the answering system, when you press 2 to play back new messages, the system announces, "You have no new message." If you pause for more than four seconds during remote access, you hear a help menu listing all features and commands. If there is no command for another 20 seconds, the call ends automatically. If the memory is full, the answering system answers after 10 rings and announces, "Memory is full. Enter the remote access code." Enter your remote access code to access the messages and announcements. When the answering system is turned off, the telephone answers after 10 rings and announces, "Please enter your remote access code."

Maybe a silly question, but did you get the batteries in right? If they are in correctly, then take the remote back to where you bought it for an exchange.

Open door, turn ignition on, then off. Press and release programming switch once, then press and hold. Now press and release button on remote. Release programming switch. Remove key, test remote. Afterwards, repeat for second remote.

A new remote is the simplest and best bet. I know of no way to repair a remote without making it irreparable. Though you might check the infrared LED i the front. Does the light on the remote illuminate when you press a button?(assuming it has that.)

When you put new battery in remote you must re sync the remote with the system.To do this you need to take off the back of the remote then push the red button.Their is a red button on the system that you need to push at the same time. This button is in the front or side compartment of the system.After pushing both buttons push the a button on the remote.Do this for all remotes.You my have to do this a few times to get it to sync.
