there are many Variations of Universal Remotes that will work with this system. and they Vary in price range from $5 - $100 dollars.. My suggestion(and Preference) is the Sony LM-V301
its reasonably priced and Available at any Department store and works Excellent with all Koss Products
TV Hookup
The TV is NOT a source of high quality sound.
For the best serious audio I would recommend drawing the audio-only digital feed from the Cable Box via its highest quality audio output. Then turn the TV's volume down. Also run the vanilla RCA stereo audio pair from the cable box to the TV in case you just want to check the weather.
Remote control for koss 220
Well, I had the same problem, so I open the control and clean with a little alcohol or acetone the panel inside. Now I got my Koss control working 100%

Koss C220 remote DO NOT Damage it!!!
Treat your C220 remote control with gentle loving care!!! The koss c220 system is useless with out it. Do not order a replacement remote from remotes.com for this unit they do not work very well.
Audio output
you should be able to connect any pc to any home stereo device. you will need a special cable to connect them though. usually a local radio shack or circuit city type store will be able to help you. You will need a " Stereo Headphone to Stereo RCA " cable. ask someone at the store for one of these, explain what you are trying to do, and they will likely be able to help you as well.
after you get this cable you can simply plug your computer into the back of the Speaker amplifier (usually called aux or line1) where there will be a red and white plug. set your amplifier to the Aux input and listen away.
Standby light on, but won't power on
