Benq FP71V monitor is displaying main menu and audio panels etc in the middle of the screen. Cannot turn them off or make any of the menu panels dissapear.

my viewsonic monitor (E70fSB) having a problem, the main menu (the one with the option of adjusting the position, zooming, color, size, etc.) of the monitor always pop-up. i can't fix it. i hope you can help me asap.

Your monitor must have multiple inputs (Dvi,D-sub) so it searches when you start for which input is connected.
If menu popping up intemittently is your problem,The culprit is generally defective (Leaky) Key switches.You need to pen up monitor and replace.
Normally BenQ has a 3 year warranty.

There are 6 (reduced quality) capacitors in the BenQ Q9W5 which cause the screen over time to 'fail to sync' when turning on or resuming from standby.

They are;
4x 470uF 35v, and
2x 1000uF 16v.

I recommend the following replacements if you are in Australia (the ones I purchased from Jaycar only lasted 12 months);
