When you open up the monitor, there will be a main board on the bottom. Look at the solder joints and see if you can spot any that have hairline cracks in them. You may have to look at the different solder joints with a magnifying glass to spot them cause they might be hard to see.
When you find them, take the solder off by placing your solder wick on the solder joint and then put your soldering iron on top so it heats up the solder and it melts into the solder wick. After you do this then put fresh solder on the solder joint.
Do this with all solder points that you find cracks in them.
This should take care of the problem.

Monitor not Display
Hi Rey,
Hope this helps you like what I did to resolve this kinda problem. If you can manage to open the chassis/cover check first if the HOT (horizontal output transistor) is good, if good check the SMPS (switching mode power supply) primary and secondary side if there are short filter capacitors, diodes, transistors and open resistors. Major faults to consider is by checking the load of SMPS, control circuit, driver circuit, feedback ckt.
Please let somebody to assist you (a certified technician) how to open the chassis safely due to electric shock. Please be guided accordingly.
Best regards,

some countries block these sites. Try going via a free web proxy (google for one) and see if this makes any difference although i would not been too keen to put your username and passwords in while using a free proxy as they may not be secure. The issue you have could also be with your security levels being set a little too high on your browser. You could try donwloading an alternative browser like Opera, Chrome, Firefox etc...
