I have had problems occasionally with connecting a second monitor, too. Hook up both monitors. In the Windows control panel, look up display (or right click on your desktop and select display). Is the second monitor shown? If not, click "detect" and see if it shows up. I have had a couple times where I clicked on the monitor icon in "display" and then clicked "enable this monitor" and it started working. If not, then try switching the cords so your working monitor is the second one. try again and see if it show up. If not, the problem is probably with the video card or video card driver. Try and update the driver for your card.

If this does not work, the issue is probably the card.

Make sure that the audio cable from the computer is in the correct audio output (small green socket) and connected into the monitor. You can test the monitor speakers with an MP3 player or a smartphone. Also check that the volume on the monitor is up.

Can't say I am familiar with that exact model, but usually there are screws hidden under name plaques and other glued-on paper. Then usually the edges have tabs that "hook" under the opposite edge so even after you get all the screws out you have to insert something to unhook the tabs. But before you do all that, I have not seen many fuses inside a monitor.

1. check the connection of between your monitor and your PC.(maybe there's a loosed connection or something) then observe. still have problem proceed to step 2.
2. Then you can try to swap another monitor to your PC. When it becomes ok. then the problem is in your monitor. need to checkup the monitor.
3. after swapping the monitor if the same problem persist. Check your video adapter.
# kindly update me what happened..happy to help you

Can I assume (?) you re-tried firmly checking each cable connection and the power supply is soundly in place including checking the fuse in the plug That's all I can suggest as the things I would do if in your shoes.
