When I try and turn it back on the red power light comes on and then before the picture comes on it cuts off again. Sometimes the picture will come back on for a few minutes then the no signal message comes on and puff it cut off. I cant get it to stay on Please Help Thanks Tim

Not uncommon for the fan to stay on for a few minutes after the set is turned off. It is designed that way and then supposed to shut down after a few minutes. If it does not then that circuit is defective.
U can always throw a switch in series with the fan and shut fan off after you turn set off. Or if you wanna be fancy you can rig up a relay setup that will turn the fan on/off as you do with the tv.
When the picture go black,tv still have audio?Yes,than those 1 or 2 long boards that call the LCD inverter boards are the problems are dying. If picture goes black and no audio at all?Yes,than the tv Tuner signal board have problems is dying. The tv Tuner signal board it is the board, where the incomming broadcasting signal cable plug into it.Tries websites like Shojimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those 1 or 2 refurbish long LCD inverter boards or the tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.
Check that you have not got an auto power off setting on. Check that the aerial connections are good. That the signal is strong from the stations it is picking up. Weak signals can cause the box to shut down.
It the box is very hot when it shuts down, you might have a fault on it.
o.k. your internal digital tuner sounds like its goin. what you need to do is take the back cover off and trace where you hook up your
digital signal (cable,ant.hdmi).then you will see 2 silverish boxes one is analog, other digital. get refrence #s off of board of the tuner thats conneted (trace the signal input wire to be sure) then e-mail me [email protected]
This sounds like a heat related problem, which could be a faulty chip or a cold (bad) solder joint on one of the PCBs (printed circuit boards). Due to the lethal voltages present inside a CRT type television, it is strongly advised to have this repaired by a qualified technician. however, if you or someone you know is technically inclined, you can try to fix this yourself. Cold solder joints can often be spotted by visible cracks in the solder joints. a through inspection of all the boards could easily identify the problem which can be resolved with a quick tap with a soldering iron and perhaps a little extra solder added to the joint. if that yields nothing, another method is heat/cold stressing the boards while the TV is running. With the TV on, spray small areas of the PCBs with cold spray (or a can of compressed air duster turned upside down) until the tv shuts off. then heat the last sprayed part with a hot air gun (or a hair dryer) until you can get the problem to repeat regularly. inspect the area causing the problem and you will probably find the culprit.
TV shutting off automatically means its a problem with the Lamp. Contact Pioneer or any local tech shop or Best buy and get the same replaced. Turning off after specific time : Go to the timer option and disable the Automatically Switch off option. This will resolve the issue. Please let me know if it worked.
