You need to go to the HP website and download the driver for you all in one printer. I will be posting the URL and all for you shortly.

HP PSC 950 Warming Up Error

faxing,scanning and copying use the same mechanism,thts the scanner,if its doing it intermittently you can try a reset on the printer.see if tht works.

Try switching the dialing mode to "Pulse" and lowering the baud rate for the printer.

I am sorry to inform you that HP have not released the full feature drivers for your printer model, however driver solution for this product is included in your Windows Vista operating system and is already on your computer. There is no need to download anything.

Please follow the instructions from the below webdocument to use printing and scanning feature from computer.
