As soon as i switch on the power the power is tripped

fuse in plug often blows. but delhonghi are weird. i've got one that trips unless i put an rcd plug between it and the wall socket to stop it tripping. is yours tripping off straight away or just not coming on at all? listen for a cvlick as soon as u switch on. try another wall socket. check fuse

Chances the trip switch is not high enough,as in it may need a higher amp than what has been installed.You should be able to check this out by looking at the fuse board.If memory serves me right it should be 40 amp.Check this out in the paperwork that came with the shower. If not contact Triton, they are most helpful & easy to deal with. Their number can be got on Triton site. Be VERY careful when touching any wiring either @ the fuse board or the shower.

The switch in the door may have a bare wire touching the sides causing a short. Check a schematic for the proper way to remove and test the switch. Look for bare wires or any insulation cracks.

Does it run for a while than trip the power or does it trip it as soon as it is turned on?

Short circuit on machine Disconnect the heating element located at the back of machine pull off the two wires then try switching on for fault, hope it clears......

hi compressor may be shorted out if you know how take wires off of the compressor plug in and turn on if braker doesn't trip its the compressor . if you don't think you can do this. don't call a service tec jim

Hi just read your posting.Does your machine trip the power as soon as it is turned on or after it has been on for a time?Usually on the front loaders it is the heating element that trips the safety switch.Have you tried setting the wash temp to a cold wash?Please reply with additional information and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.

When was the last time that you used the bread machine? If it has been in storage for a period of time, it is likely that the element has absorbed moisture. As soon as it starts baking, the element goes into action, and because it's "leaking to earth" the machine will trip your circuit breaker.

I recommend taking the machine to your local Breville Service Centre (locate via http://www.breville.com.au/care_agentsearch.asp) as the machine is still quite repairable. If the Service Centre is unable to dry out your element though the elements are no longer repairable.

there is a few things that will do this to your electics 1st & formost if your trip switch is tripping off remember this is a safty device to prevent fire so ignoring the problem & switching the power back on to try again could run the risk of fire!!

This sounds like a heater issue since it's tripping the power on both the wash & dryer, in events of overheating the machine will trip your power for safty & to prevent the risk of fire however since you mention that it trips the power as soon as you switch it on you could have a blocked pump or burnt out motor too if your finding that the machine is tripping the power earlyer & earlyer each time you retry i would focas on the motor or the pump 1st

on rare ocasions you can spring a leak & if water gets on the electrics this will also trip the power but this is 1 of the least likely posabilatys..
remember always get a qualified electrician to work on your electrics to ensure the job is carried out correctly

I suspect that the problem is probably being caused by a fault on the dryer element or thermostat.
Remove the top cover and disconnect the heater, and see what happens..
If it does not trip, then prob is the dryer element or stat.
