Error Codes 6A00 and 5C10

I had an error code 5100 that I thought I had solved. I removed a foreign object that was stuck under two of the white flat parts, about 1" wide with rollers, that are located just under where the printer head slides back and forth. The unit restarted correctly so I tried to perform some cleaning. First, it came back with error code 5C10 and now it shows error code 6A00. I've seen a suggestion that I should check the area to the far right of the printer head but it is stuck to the right.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I have the error code 5101 come up all the time so I have to shut it down & then turn it back on again. It seems it does it mainly when one of the inkjet cartridges are getting low. This is very annoying as well as whenvever the ink cartridges just start getting low you have to keep pushing "ok" after you push the copy button.

I tried everything suggested on other posts (cleaning paper feeds and making sure rollers were free, moving carriage back and forth manually, etc)., but nothing worked. With it still plugged in, I turned the whole thing upside down and shook it. It hummed and buzzed, and moved the carriage a couple of times. Viola, problem solved. Go figure.

Error 5100 error code

Hi You can Try 2 things.

ERROR 5100 means that there is some foreign object blocking your cartridges carriage that disables it from moving. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there

Next try.

It may be a piece of paper or a scotch tape or a staple wire.
Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.

Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .

Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.
