This is probably the lamp. If you replaced the lamp then you need to reset the lamp counter in the menu settings. You should clean the filter out as well.
I have a similar problem. JVC Project (DLA-RS1) shuts off after about 30 min to 1 hour of use. Everything turns off - bulb, fan, even the little light on the projector near the buttons. After 10-15 min the red light comes back on and you can start the projector.
I have seen this happen when I had installed a knock-off bulb. I believe the bulb runs a little hotter and the projector over heats. Now I am seeing it happen even with a JVC bulb.
I am in the process of taking the cover off the projector to see if anything is blocking the air flow (like a piece of broken bulb, which did break a while back). If a problem doesn't show up there I am going to check the fan to see if it is turning at full speed (maybe replace with a beefier fan?).
probable its the case of overheating, ensure the projector has proper ventilation, clean the air filter's, if possible try using additional 2.5" or 4" fans to keep the projector cool
the optical engine has to be blown out. I don't recommend trying this because you need to have training to properly remove the plastics and the gears on the engine. take it to a technician. you shouldn't be billed for more than 30 min at the most, 20 min if the tech is familiar with this model.
What I have done in the past is to change to project to high power mode for some time and then change it back to low power mode after 20-30 mins. This fixes the flashing light issue, at least temporarily.
