My EIKI projector won't turn on.After hitting the power button it will begin to start but after about 10seconds the fan will start running real fast and then will stop and the warning light comes on.

I can only select 108i on my eiki LC X60 when using hdmi from cable box into dvi adapter into dvi input on projector. Also pictue is smaller.

Try different source (laptop HDMI) to mske sure it is not cable box issue

Eiki projector problem

Just guessing here, are you feeding it the right resolution out of the source for the native resolution of the projector? Typically fuzzy fonts are caused by mismatch of resolution between a computer and it's display's native resolution. A projector can suffer the same issue. Without having a full picture of what your doing, like model numbers, hard for me to help.

Everything works fine, just going dark on me!

Yes, anytime the picture becomes dim, or the color begins to fade it is time to replace the lamp.
