Canon multipass mp 390 manual

We lost everything in a house fire. Someone gave me a Canon multipass mp 390. when i plugged it in the alarm light was on; i hit copy and it says check printer set key. i touch printer set key and letter, normal flashes and then it says please wait and then i replaced ink and nothing changed. I need help. I have to print and copy stuff from computer for insurance company. Am I wasting my time on this? Can You help? How do I get a manual? lisa sprug

    I need the manual for the canon mulitpass mp390, it was given to me but has no discs or manual. Is there one on line that I can download.
