Hi, I had the message waste ink near full for a while and I could get it to print but now the whole thing is jammed up. As far as I'm aware the error message 343 means waste ink tank is full!! I understand there is a routine to reset this issue and the ink pads may not be full. I don't mind if a bit of ink spills over, I would just like to get a bit more life out of the machine. I've seen some routines for other canon printers but not for the MP730. And Canon won't tell on their support line!! Any ideas

Hello there.
same problem here, waste ink full, any help is appreciated.
I too, have been useing this machine as a 2nd printer and tonight in the middle of a RUSH order for a client I get this message WASTE INK NEAR FULL I've tried everything and searched everywhere ... it just quit printing in the middle of the job and I've spent the last 5 hours mucking around trying to fix this or at least find out what it is. There is definately nothing on CANON's help menu that even mentions it.
