I use a braun Silk-épil Xpressive Wet & Dry Epilator. While charging the flash light flickers continuously and the machine does not work even after an hour of charge. What could be the problem? I tried switching between speed one and two - the machine just refuses to work.

If the issue started and progressively got worse..it sounds to me like a rubber belt transmission/ distributor on the engine ..and this got loose on time ..changing it .. will make it work ..The strange noise indicates the engine going loose...(obviously a less noise on a higher tone ...and higher speed )
If you do not get someone to change it cause it is in warranty ..just open it up and see what is the cause ...It has to be something like that or ..some worn plastic transmission ..wheels ..

Hey , were your able to find any solution for your problem. I opened my epilator and now this wire is not in its place. I dont remember how it used to be :(
