You will need a power step down transformer.
220V to 110V

I have bought a Braun epilator 7 , Braun type:5377 , in USA and have purchased the charger in the UK which is 100-240 v , do I still need to get a voltage converter to be able to use it in the UK ?

If the charger is 100 to 240VAC, it should work. USA use 110 volt so the charger should be OK with 240. The UK charger will probably have a UK 3 pin plug on it. If you use it in the US, you will have to change the plug again or buy an international adaptor which can be adapted to fit most outlets anywhere in the World.

Why is my epilator not charging?

Same problem. Only after 2 months of buying silk epil 7 epilator, it stopped charging and is not working at all. There is very few customer service centres of Braun in India. So it is very difficult to contact them and show your product to find out the issue.

My braun silk epil xelle is still working but not as good as i purchased it about 2 years ago. it doesn't sound and rotate powerful enough. i want to disassemble it but cant figure it out!

Probably a whole bunch muck is inside theyre (science Project ewe), are you sure you want to open it up? ok... there should some screws underneath the plastic covering but you will need to kind of rip that off and reapply some sticky appoxy after.

Satinelle HP6409 Epilator: I have epilator philips satinelle ice with europia...

The epilator is universal voltage so the power lead should not matter. You could get an adaptor to convert from Europe to US and that would do fine.

Otherwise, try http://www.support.philips.com/support/service/onlineStore.jsp?userCountry=us&userLanguage=en

Can I use a transformer and use the epilator when I travel to China?

Yes, provided you have a good quality voltage conversion kit needed to plug into the outlet. The only issues I've ever had with using a voltage converter when traveling was that some directly powered devices either ran slightly slower than when operating on standard 120 V-AC when at home in the US.

It mostly has to do with the quality of the power source and systems in the country you're traveling in, but I've never "lost" a device due to poor power conditions.

Enjoy your trip and have fun. Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!
