What does F1 indicate? My oven seems stuck on Broiler and a signal keeps flashing F1 with beeping signal. What could be wrong?

F1 is a common failure on a lot of ge oven controllers. Although sometimes it is caused by a keypad failure. The test is to disconnect the keypad, power up the oven with the keypad unplugged ... see if you get an F1 ... may take a while ... 30 minutes or so. If you still get an F1 then the problem is with the oven control board. If so, we can repair the board for you.
