This code means the control has detected a problem with the door latch switch. Switch is defective and needs replaced. Part # is W10107820 and cost is $39.99. You can get it at http://www3.sears.com/.

I had Error Code E1 F5 on my Kenmore oven. Before calling a repair shop, I went to the circuit breaker box and turned off the power to the oven. I turned it back on and the door was released and the error was cleared. I turned the oven on to bake to see if I would get another error. It seems to be OK.

Pressing and holding start and cancel at the same time, then hitting cancel worked for us (unlocked after getting those codes).

I had this problem 6 months ago. Replaced the motor and it worked so that I could self clean the oven. Tried again, and it is dead again. Looks to be a bad design. You have to replace the motor everytime you want to clean the oven. I will be out shopping to buy a new oven tomorrow to replace my 3 year old one. I will not buy it at Sears either.

What I found with my Whirlpool Super capacity 465 with accubake system was that at the end of a 3.5 hour cleaning cycle the electric motor that operates the latch system for the door had failed giving me a E1 F5 code. I had to pop the top up. Reach in the far back top right corner of the oven where the door latch rod comes forwards and cycle the motor till the latch allowed the door to open. I need to replace the motor yet but as it is still the weekend I'll have to wait till monday to get the motor out and get a replacement. Till then this has allowed us to use the oven. You just cannot do a cleaning cycle till the motor is relaced. Hope this helps everyone with this issue.

I had the E0 F5 Error, my oven said locked, I was stating the self cleaning cycle, however my oven did not lock, so would not clean, I reset the circuit breaker and the locked light went off and I am able to do the cleaning, now I am praying that it will unlock, lol...I won't be laughing tomorrow if it does not unlock, for it is Easter and I am hosting with a Turkey dinner.

that's a bad door latch,if you use the self clean don't use it anymore, the oven gets up to 1000 degrees and damages the electronics in the oven, takes out the clock assy. the door latch things like that.part number WPW10195934 go here to see parts go here put model number in and look up parts, also you can check all the error codes down in bottom right hand side
https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/RBD305PDB14/1198/0125300.html?searchType=modelSearch&q=Rbd305pdb14&searchTerm=Rbd305pdb14
go to upper oven and look at part number 22,you should have googled the error code before you changed out all those parts.
