I cant use Music Match jukebox on my new PC. Why?

  1. Verify that your music is in the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus folder on your hard drive. Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, or select "My Computer" from the Start menu. Open the C:\\ drive. Double-click "MusicMatch Jukebox." Review the folder to check that all of your MP3 files are inside the folder. If not, search your computer for the files and drag them to the MusicMatch folder.
  2. Turn on folder sharing to ensure the software can access your music files. Open "My Network Places" in the "My Computer" folder. Click "Properties." In the resulting window, click "File and Print Sharing." Check the box next to, "I want to be able to give others access to my files." Click "OK" and close all open windows before restarting your PC.
  3. Check that you have permission to play the specific MP3 files if you are having playback issues. Occasionally, songs purchased through the Yahoo! Music online store using MusicMatch Jukebox Plus have faulty digital rights management (DRM) protection. Burn the file to a CD and then rip the song from the CD as an MP3, which removes the DRM protection and allows the software to play it without restrictions. This is your only recourse, as the MusicMatch store no longer exists. Previously, you could have contacted MusicMatch's customer service to have the song reissued.
  4. Reinstall the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus software. Click the "Start" menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen and select "Settings." Open your "Control Panel" and double-click the icon named "Add/Remove Programs." Locate "MUSICMATCH" in the list of available programs and click "Uninstall."
  5. Insert the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus installation disk into your computer's disk drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software again. This may resolve problems involving faulty computer files and corrupt Windows Registry data.
  6. Clean any CDs you are trying to rip or record to using the MusicMatch software. Disks with unclean surfaces involving dust or fingerprints are some of the most common reasons for faulty MP3 ripping or poor audio when recording CDs. Use a specialty disk cleaning cloth or a cloth intended for cleaning similarly sensitive accessories such as prescription eyeglasses. Wipe the disk from the middle toward the edge.please rate and comment on this product just by saying how helpful it is.raise the thumb up

IM TRYING TO COVERT MY WURLITZER 1015 OMT CD JUKEBOX TO PLAY MY IPOD WHAT DO I NEED TO GET.

To make the jukebox automatically switch between jukebox CDs and the IPOD source, you'll need the background music adaptor. I have these in stock, but need to know which amplifier is in your machine, as different amplifier types require different BGM units. Please email [email protected]

When it the zen is turned on it says firmware

Had the same problem and nearly went nuts trying to fix it. Here's what I did:

1. Uninstall all creative driver & creative software.
2. Uninstalled Windows Media Player 11 (Rolled back to WMP 10) and restarted PC.
3. Uninstalled Windows Media Player 11 Runtime and restarted PC.
4. Downloaded and Installed the latest free version of Winamp from http://www.winamp.com
5. Connected my A/C Power Cord to my Nomad Jukebox then connected my Nomad Jukebox via USB cable to the Computer.

The computer should then recognize the Nomad Jukebox as "Found New Hardware" then "MTP Device" and lastly "Your new hardware is installed and ready to use.

6. If you haven't already, go to the creative website and download the Creative Zen Xtra PlaysForSure Firmware 2.10.03 and save it to your computer.
7. Run the Firmware (Make sure Nomad Jukebox is connected) and at this point the Computer should recognize the Nomad Jukebox and begin the upgrade.

After your upgrade is complete, You can go ahead and re-download Windows Media Player 11 and it will recognize the Nomad Jukebox. Not sure what version of windows you have, but I have two computers, one with windows xp and the other has windows 7 and Im able to transfer music perfectly fine with Windows Media Player and RealPlayer on both computers. I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

Cannot burn cd from Musicmatch from Dell Optiplex GX260. Error.

Hello,

My name is ArmyMason, I am here to help you. So you have an issue burning music to CD's. What is the format of the music? MP3, WMA, or WAV? Is the music protected by copyright in which doesn't allow you to burn it to CD? Right click on the song and click properties you will be able to see if its copyright protected there. Also some burning software only works with newer CD drives. I had an issue once burning a DVD with this software I bought because the DVD player wasnt supported. Once I upgraded the DVD Burner I was able to burn DVD's. Those are the only things that could be stopping you from burning music.

Hope that helps,
ArmyMason

It can be CD-blank media problem. Try another brand or if you use CD-RW try to use CD+RW.
Also try to use simulation mode. If it works fine it can be CD-blank media problem.
