Now when puting it back together I have one piece that just does not seem to go anywhere. So I am looking for a picture or schimatic to show me.It is a black piece shaped at a right angle a pin in the middle and about a 3inch arm with a ruff edge on it. somewhere I am just missing something Thank you Art

Hp 7210 rinter will not align properly

Hi Melvin,

This could be due to faulty, low ink level or Scanner glass not clean.

Remove the cartridge and Clean the electrical contacts ( tiny golden contacts ) with lint free cloth. Open the scanner glass and wipe the glass for any dust particules.
Turn off the printer ( without cartridges )and turn on. It should prompt you to install cartridges for alignment.

You can also try cleaning Cartridges from Front panel

Press Setup button ( menu button )
Scroll to Tools - Press ok
Check for Clean Cartridges/Printhead - Press OK
IT will clean the cartridge contact and print the alignment sheet which you need to place face down on the scanner glass and press OK

Sean

After changing the cartridge the Black in is not working

Your printer's head mainly (black holes) may be block by dry ink. Try to clean it. To clean follow these proces:
Take black ink in a plastic seringe Then unplug black cartrige. See inside into cartrige carrier. There is a black plstic stick. Try it to insert into plastic seringe (carefull). Then push ink through black stick. ( 4/5 times) . After that you will be relive from your printer problem.
Thank you.

Problem with canon printer pixma M130 it displays

Ok you need to know this secret with canon and epson printers:

They do not allow any remanufatured or refilled cartriges to work on their printers. Sometimes their printers make sure that such ink will not work (just keep that in mind)

However, if you have been using refilled cartriges before, and it worked, then you may have a defective cartrige. Where ever you got this refilled go back and tell them that you need a newly refilled one because the one they gave you is defective.

If that does not work go to Cartrige world (hopefully they are around where you live) or someplace that will take your cartrige in and give you another refilled cartrige and hopefully its not defective.

I hope this helps let me know ok?

Hi, I have an epson stylus cx6600 , I replaced the black ink and the pages printed afterwards were full of lines, I cleaned the nozzles and cleaned the heads twice. I then took out the black ink cartridge...

Did you put a new cartrige the first time, or just put ink in the old one? Ink cartriges dry out. If you let them sit for extended periods of time, you don't save ink, you let them dry out. You can try to bag and wrap them if you are not going to use for awhile and see if they keep longer...but usually you just have to get a new one. I've heard you can put tape over the end of it to keep it longer...don't know from experience though. New carts will usually do the trick though.

I took out all of the ink cartriges and cleaned out all of the ink dust with "wet ones". I put all of the ink.cart. back in & had trouble lining up the yellow one. When I turn it on & it goes thru...

I got tired of waiting for "fixya" to answer me, glad they aren't EMT's.
I jsut bought another printer........problem solved ! All fixya wanted out of me was money, to get my answer.

My printer/scanner says that for some reason,

The ink is very caustic, it may have seeped out of the sump and ruined the print heads. No way to repair, sorry.

Toner dust

It really sounds like a defective cartridge. There is a metering blade in there that puts the right amount of ink onthe roller, if its not right it will just throw it into the machine.
You need to vacuum the machine out, return the cartridge for a new one.

RX500 EPSOM STYLUS PHOTO PRINTER Won't Print

I used some less expensive generic ink cartridges on my RX500 and had a similar experience with the black. If you're already using the Epson brand, done the head cleaning, realignment and nozzel checks, I'm not much help. Try Epson's support at their web site.
