I believe this is the start of a Spin Cycle of that Wash Cycle which Wash Cycle did you have selected?

Are there any error codes to the LED display like dC or uC?

If you stop that wash cycle with the wet load and do a Spin Only cycle will it complete with no error code?

Does the wash tub bang around in Spin Only cycle with the wet clothes load?

Standing by for some feedback and I will try to help.

Here is the Service Manual and parts look up. Can you let me know if you want to try to DIY the fix?

My maytag fav6800aw top loader getting dc code in rinse cycle 12 min.stops and go's back then try's to spin but the tub starts moving all over the place.and then try's again after a while just stops it...

You have clutch malfunction. Take a look at my Clutch Fix post and see if you can DIY the fix.

I have a Zanussi Electrolux ZWF 1430 W and it's coming up with an E20 error code. The machine starts off OK but after about 25 minutes the Error Code E20 starts flashing in display and the machine stops...

E20 is a draining error.

First, try to reset the machine to factory settings first by setting cycle selector to off position for 5 sec, then to spin for 5 sec, then back to off for 5 sec, and then to spin. The machine should reset allowing you to select the drain cycle and get the water out of the machine then run a spin cycle to clear any remaining water before you unscrew the filter to clear it.
Next, you need to take the filter out at the front, bottom right, of the machine, empty it of all lint and replace it. It may have water trapped in so be ready to soak up excess liquid! Also, make sure when you put it back in you have tightened it enough to avoid leaking but not too much that you cannot get it back out.
If this doesn't fix the problem, check your drain pipe hoses to make sure they are not kinked and flush them out.
Last but not least, replace the drain pump.

Hello djlampl,

With the lowest spin cycle setting I enter spin cycle in Quick Wash around the 21 minute mark. But first question is do you hear the grinding noise with the tumblers rotating during the wash/agitate cycle?

If you start a spin only cycle do you hear the grinding noise?

Does the washer error code out with an error code to the display? Codes such as dC, uC, Lr?, I assume the machine type is a FAV6800AW is that correct?

Any additional info will help in troubleshooting…..Rich

If your machine is a FAV6800A to FAV9800A here is the Service Manual.

If it one of those machines I suspect a possible clutch malfunction. See this post for what is involved to do clutch maintenance or replacement.

Do you have any error codes to the display if it a FAV6800A such as dC or uC unbalance codes. Is the wash tub banging around on Spin Cycle of the Wash Cycle? ……Rich

Oops sorry I'm responding to a load of these no spin issues you did report dC unballance code for sure you have a clutch issue. I'm and onwer like you.
