If you are able to play DVDs with out through then most likely the system is not over heating. So you may have corrrupted data on the hard drive. I would recommend that you backup you save files and go through the steps below to format the hard drive. If you still have trouble they you do actually have a hard ware problem with the system.

scan ur pc ,there might be viruses and there may be less ram on ur pc,and due to many windows open up,the computer hangs

change your graphics card or you may upgrade your card.

It's just a setting in the games menu-looks like the machine has reset to default.You will need to access the setup buttons to do this,so you are going to have to get a key.....

CAPC: Is the Game (LOST PLANET) as far as I can tell you. I have the same problem with it and unfortunatedlly it has something to do, not with the console, but with a patch from Microsoft. We should wait until a new realeased patch from Microsoft is posted on their site. For now the only hard way to finish LOST PLANET is that at every concluded mission to quit the session and wait until it AUTO-SAVE itself to XBOX 360's Hard Drive. SithPitt
