Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Game FREEZE When playing games my xbox 360 freezes, i have about 15 games an only the last two i've bougth are showing this problem (LOST PLANET on 05/15/2007 and DIRT 07/01/2007), the console doesn't show flash the red ligth , the power supply stands on green, the Game freezes and i need to restart the game, is there anything wrong with the new game releases?. In addition Gears of War, winning eleven 2007, TMNT, Crackdown work perfectly, no problems even when i play those games for hours it never freeze. Lost Planet and Dirt can't be played longer than 1 hour, sometimes only 5 minutes. The Xbox if well ventilated, it has its own air condition turned on 24/7, i dont think the problem is overheating.

CAPC: Is the Game (LOST PLANET) as far as I can tell you. I have the same problem with it and unfortunatedlly it has something to do, not with the console, but with a patch from Microsoft. We should wait until a new realeased patch from Microsoft is posted on their site. For now the only hard way to finish LOST PLANET is that at every concluded mission to quit the session and wait until it AUTO-SAVE itself to XBOX 360's Hard Drive. SithPitt

If it only freezes on that game, chances are it's the disk that's causing the problems. I've experienced that some xbox games act up if only the slightest scratch is on the disk. If there is, either take it back or pay a few bucks for Best Buy or some video rental place to repair it for ya.

Try playing your game without Xbox live at first. If it doesn't freeze up, then you have an internet connection problem. Try reconnecting wires. If it does freeze up without Xbox live, it may just be the game.

My xbox 360 laser appears to be damaged

someone gave me my xbox 360 because the power brick was bad. it would freeze up and show some kind of checkboard thing on the screen. i told the guy at gamestop about it and he told me to make sure its not on the carpet, same for the power brick. it hasnt froze up since so it saved me 100 dollars.
