Hi,
Please open the control panel, which is held by two screws. There is a T-connection for the water hose to wash the bleach into the tub. It must have popped off or got disconnected.
Let us know if you want any further clarification.

I have a Maytag washer that is leaking out the bottom and back right next to the connection for the hoses. How do I fix this I am scared it will destroy the washer seeing as how the power cord is right next to them too. help

Water leak from the bottom of washer

Hi friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that water is leaking from the bottom of your Frigidaire washer. There are many components that could cause a washer to leak the bellow (gasket), leak from drain hose, drain pump, or water valve. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to diagnose and repair your appliance. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Washer

No offense, but I think it's time for a new washer. The only thing that comes to mind for leaking would be a broken hose. Is it leaking out of the bottom bottom or like the bottom of the door?

I bought an Admiral washer Model No. ATW4475VQ. I bought it from Home Depot. The first washer was delivered, and when I did a load of laundry, water leaked from the bottom of the washer. I did not see any...

It's impossible to tell. from your description.

Usually a new washer is set up with new hoses. If the installers aren't complete idiots that should be good.

You can look at where the water lines come out of your wall and make sure it isn't wet there.

You could also test the water pressure at your house and make sure it isn't extremely high. Sometimes these new units can't take overly high water pressure.

Good Luck!

Leaking from bottom of washer

Do you have the little door at the bottom to collect lint and stuff that goes through the washer? I had a leaking problem once when I simply didn't tighten it enough. Check that.
