Fridgidaire no spin light keeps coming on and washer won't run
Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000ES, is not spinning and the lights keep coming on. I suggest giving your appliance a hard reset, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. After restoring power start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Affinity ATF6700 washer has 'err' in display, I can't press any buttons, unplugging it did nothing.
Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Affinity.
Try a full system reset. If that doesn't work, you need a service call.
Resetting the Frigidaire Affinity washer
- Unplug the power source or turn the circuit breaker off for a few seconds.
- Then plug the power back on to reset the washer to default settings.
- Now press the cancel button to cancel all commands.
- And in the next step press and hold the spin speed and soil level buttons together for four to eight seconds.
- Hold the buttons until you hear some signal sounds and then leave the buttons.
- After that open the door for more than 2 times and make sure it gets closed again each time. After this, your machine has been properly restored to proper default settings. This will lead your machine to work properly again.

My Frigidaire Affinity washer stopped working in middle of cycle and shows PAU code.
'power strip'!! You can't run a washing machine from a power strip! It pulls far to many amps. Plug into a wall socket on its own.
PAU Error. The PAU, or pause, error usually means that the washing machine cycle was interrupted and was not restarted properly
. If you try to modify the cycle or start a new one before the first cycle is complete, the PAU error will appear on the display.

Hello,
Welcome to FixYa
Based on your description I suspect the rear bearing or spider gear is toast. You are probably right, either the suspension shock absorbers are broke or the inner basket is separated from the spider gear often times.
Very common for these machines unfortunately. It isn't too bad if just shocks, but it is a very involved repair for the spider gear/inner basket.
**Unplug the unit from the wall before attempting any of these service tips...safety first**
You'll need to remove the lower access panel to investigate the shocks...these shown are the newer style but previous versions where all plastic, hence the broke much easier.
i.e.
and the rear panel to inspect the basket & spider gear attachment. Check for any signs of leakage or rust behind where the arrow indicates...the tub bearing.
If you think you're up to it I can help in whatever manner possible with those Frigidaire washers.
I'll watch for your reply. Good luck.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)
