I have had this Epson printer for about a year now and recently have changed ink several times as I print alot of 8 x 10 photos. I printed some color prints on regular paper and my printer work not print anything on paper although it would go through the motions. I replced the Yellow cartridge and the printer comes back and says that the black, cyan and magenta were empty. I replaced all three and printed 2 8x 10 photos and now the ink level screen shows that I have used half of the Black, cyan and magenta cartridges and the yellow was completely empty. I know I can get about 25 to 30 8 x 10 when i normally print. Can you advise what is going on ?

I've had basically the same problem as Emran Ahmed ha had with the Epson cx5000. I've installed new cartridges only to find an empty message coming up which blocks me from printing anything. Out of desparation I bought another yellow ink cartridge and now it registers full but now the others are drained and the blue indicates that it needs to be changed. How very disgusting as my printer is very low milage besides.
I'm having the same problem as well. I ran out of ink, so I bought more. I loaded the new cartridges in and no matter what I do the printer WILL not allow me to print. The red ink light still flashes and the computer still tells me to replace the cartridges even though I already have. It just wont register the new ink. Where are the print boards at, so I can clean them and see if that helps?
The printer is saying to replace the cyan ink cartridge although it was just replaced.
I recently changed to windows 8 computer and noticed paper is not straight coming out of Epson wf-2540. The paper is placed up against the guide
I cannot a get full print from printer, no black shows on page. There are only traces of print, barely showing on paper after it goes thru and sounds like it is printing.
This necessary at knowing when to buy new cartridges in advance of their being expended.
The ink cartridge levels does not show anywhere. No option to view them when I print and I searched devices and printer options and can't seem to find the ink levels anywhere. I have Windows 8 on my computer.
