Try this with your key in the on position and the radio off. Hit the clock button. When the clock appears, hold the clock and audio button at the same time. Thats the way my pioneer does it.
On many imported cars , the radios have options for
different areas of the world (UK/EUROPE : ASIA: USA+Americasetc.
) If you have a MENU
buttonon your radio , see if you can
find this Area choice option. Once found , then it is
just a matter of switching to the area required =========================
I went to Pioneer's website and found the instruction manual available for download. Click the link below to navigate to their website....

Please rate me on how well this works!!!
did you check to make sure your vehicle didnt come with a factory amp, if it has one is it turning on? or did you remember to disconnect the negative battery cable while installing your radio, i know thats a dumb question, once i was installing a pioneer a barely crossed a couple wires and fried the radio, the radio itself worked fine and all the features etc, but it never did play sound again. i always disconnect the power now!!
check for a stuck button on the face. Thats what happened to mine. Nothing on the face worked... remote wouldn't work...started pushing buttons untill one "popped" and then everything was fine.
