I have never heard of a display for an amp error on a car stereo, and I worked for Pioneer. Barring that, you can try to reset it(shown maybe in your owner's manual). If you are interested in a repair, please contact me on my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

Do you mean the System cable? https://www.manualslib.com/manual/712344/Pioneer-Xc-Is21md.html?page=6#manual Unfortunately, Pioneer does not seem to have this cable available any more. http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/model.asp?modelNum=XCIS21T . The only replacement part that I can find is a lens for the CD player. I wish that I had better news for you. If you got the XC-IS21T used, check with the seller. Cindy Wells

I found a fix in another thread. I tried it last night, and it worked. Nothing was broken; a moving plastic piece had just jumped out of its track. Here's the fix:

1. Remove the cover (2 screws on each side & 3 in the back).

2. Find a small white arm (more or less cylindrical, about 1" diameter, & about 3/4" long) and a longer (4-5"?) thin black arm in the center of the unit. These parts load/unload CDs to/from the playing area. You should see that a little knob on the white piece has jumped out of its track in the black piece.

3. Carefully put the knob on the white piece back in its track in the black piece. That should do it.

It could be stuck or jammed then or the parts that allow the door to open could be broken. There are video's on YouTube about how to a CD player or a DVD player that will not open up.

You require a laser assembly. As they have not been produced for 20 years, depending on the model number, there will only be copies on fleabay as NOS lasers are not reliable.
