On the kenwood radio all I did was hook the wire to ground, and it works, hope this works for you, pass it along.

All you have to do is change the live 12v wire to another power supply. Currently it is hooked up to a source such as a transmission sensor or related wire.

I installed a brake sensor bypass for an article I recently published on the Kenwood DNX9960. This bypass should work on any head unit with a similar safety feature. It utilizes a relay to send the head unit a message that the emergency brake has been set. This method is superior to many of those already shared because it simulates the circumstances for which this safety feature was designed. It sends its message after the unit powers on. Check my installation page for a wiring diagram and pictures of the bypass.

If you have an avicf90bt go to avic411.com. I have one and I had to move the mute wire (yellow/black stripe) from it's factory location to a different one! It's not easy to explain but if you go to avic411.com and type bypass into the search they explain everything with illustrations!! I did it a couple days ago and have had no probs!!! Works great!!!!

DVD drive problems

At first i thought that perhaps removing the Upper & Lower filters from registry would help, but as I read again I realized I had, had, this myself before.. it is a faulty quadrent detector in your DVD. It is the not playing the "Old" DVD's that gives it away. Time for a replacement,

Want dvd to play while driving its played before i hit reset button now it does'nt play

You need to hook up the pink wire to a power wire. I myself have a switch in my cig outlet (which ran blue lights i had inside my car) running it so if i ever got pulled over i just pull out the switch and they cant prove i was playing a movie.
