Hi all, I have a Canon PIXMA MP160 printer that used to work fine before. I recently moved, and when plugging the printer in again the green "on" light shortly turns on, then off again after which the orange alarm lights stays on. At this point the printer doesnt respond to pushing any buttons (even the on/off button). My PC recognizes the printer and I can click print on any document, but the printing progress bar closes itself after a few seconds and nothing happens. Any idea what is going on? Thanks in advance!

Reset Printer Canon PIXMA MX310 or Canon MP160 - Printer ...
..
Testimonial: "Hello, many thanks for your answer. Unfortunately this didnt work. Orange error light now flashes, but still the other buttons don't respond nor is the printer going in service mode. Any idea what else could be the problem?"
Okay. One your computer, go to Settings - Apps and uninstall all of the Canon Software and drivers. Check in Settings - Printers and make sure it is gone. Reboot the computer and then reinstall all the Canon Software and Drivers. Then in Settings - Printers see if you can print a Test Page?
If that doesn't work, you will need to take it to a Canon Service Centre for diagnostics and probably a new print head.

This some times works.
Also if you are using the Refillable ink cartilages stop they always cause major issues
1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a
