My epson printer is connected to a server i have existing driver

I believe that you would select the "language" during the driver and software installation.
Un-install / Remove the printer; Disconnect it, then reboot a couple of times.
Put in the install disk, (or launch the exe if you downloaded it.)and re-install the drivers.

[Note: if you *DID* download the drivers, you may not have downloaded the "english" version, but the Chinese version instead....just a thought.]

Network printing with a non-networked printer
This model printer has only an USB printer connection andnormally connected to a computer or laptop.
To connect this printer wirelessly to all laptops on your wireless networkthere are a couple of methods.
Connect the printer to a desktop computer and setup the printer as a sharedprinter. Next connect the desktop computer to your wireless router with a LANcable and then configure the wireless laptops to connect to the shared printeron the desktop computer. NOTE - This desktop computer and printer must be on atall times for the wireless laptops to print to the printer.
OTHER METHOD
Connect the printer to an USB print server and connect the print server to thewireless router with a LAN cable. The printer drivers needs to be installed onall the wireless laptops and then the printer port needs to be deleted from theUSB port and a new IP address printer port installed. This IP address will bethe IP address of the print server.

Hello,

The only way to change the language of the installed drivers is to uninstall the drivers and reinstall.

After you uninstall and before you reinstall you will want to delete the drivers completely.

After you uninstall, go to control panel \ printers.
Click on right click anywhere in the window that is blank and select "server properties".
Now click on the "driver" tab and remove any epson drivers lsited.

Now you can reinstall and select english as your language.

Well, The first thing you should do is to try to test of the print server is properly connecting to the printer. Check the linksys printserver manual and look for how to print a status sheel from the print server. Once done, get the IP address of the print server. Go to your laptop and navigate to control panel/printer. See if you have the driver installed or download the Vista Drivers from Epson.com/support. During the installation, it will ask you what connection type your computer uses. cancel out of the installation or choose LPT1 as the port. Once done, go back to control panel/printers.Right click the R220 icon and navigate to properties. Select ports after that and add a new port. Select Standard TCP IP port after that. Once done, the wizard will appear. Input the IP address of the printer and finish the wizard. you should be good to go after this.

I had a problem with my Epson CX5500 Printer when I first installed it, as it seemed to be in chinese language which unfortunately I do not speak :). After not being able to change the language options in the printer options or finding anything in the online manual I went to http://tech.epson.co.nz/downloads/ and updated the drivers and it seemed to correct the problem. As I'm from NZ, you will want to choose a different location on this screen http://www.epson.com/index_g3.html?iref=gblhptst3 but it should make much difference. I hope this helps in some way.
