There is a 'tech sheet' in the back pf the dryer. Unplug machine, Remove the access panel on the back to get to it. Reach in and it should be there. It will tell you how to do a button check. You have to enter a test mode through the buttons.
The E 61 is a stuck button.
Enter function test mode and perform key
stuck closed (active). (button) test to determine which button is at
fault. Carefully free the and perform the test
again. If button is free but the key struck code
still exists, replace electronic control.

Hi, my Kenmore Oasis Elite electric dryer has a poor fitting lint screen which allows for a large build up of lint in the bottom of the motor housing. This lint has also become blackened as if exposed to high heat. Some electric wires also show evidence of the plastic coating turning black and over heating. I get the feeling this unit is a fire hazzard. Model # C6704 A few days ago there was a distinct odour of electrical burning. This unit was purchased new in Dec. 08. Anyone else have this experience?
I appreciate your inquiry, Ape!
From what you have described your Electrolux dryer is displaying an error code of "E75". An"E75" error code is not showing as a valid error code it could be a possible miscommunication with the control panel and I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer. You can do that by disconnecting the power from it for ten minutes. Could you please provide me with your model number? You can normally locate the model number on the serial tag which is located on the door frame. Also, once you reset it can you provide feedback if you continue to receive that error code. Good luck. -Matt
Hi - Typically error code E08 on Electrolux models indicates that it is recommended for a professional to check the mist value on the motor. Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the breaker to the household circuit breaker. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the dryer. If the error code does not clear and it is ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.
