Efme517stt0 Electrolux dryer three beeps won't start. Checked continuity of door switch is fine. Two sensors on gas cylinder have continuity. Not sure what else to check. Tried unplugging for five min. Tried all different settings or buttons. Just fast three beeps no code. Is there a way to force it to show an error code also? Update, found a guide to get to diagnostic mode. Code of Hd which isn't in the guide of course. Probably control board from my research.

how`d they?about the beep,check your sensors if dirty,clean all possible sensor locations well with your paint brush.you forgot to tell if that zero means having continuity or infinite?if that infinite or no resistance at all,it means your sensor got busted and needs to replace with a new one.then be sure your lid switch activates well while the door of your unit being shut(closed).that`s all,may it helps you a lot

I think that it's a door switch error.
Open the door and locate the door switch. Exercise the switch with your finger about twenty times then try the dryer again. You may have to replace the door switch.
Check youtube for help videos on replacing the door switch.

Well if it beeps for 3 times and then shut off when you press start it means that the dryer thinks that dryer door is open. You will have to replace your door switch to fix the problem. or you can also try closing the door normally, then firmly press on the top edge of the door. You will hear the final latch grab, then you press and hold the start button. many time it will works...

there are two or three heat sensors in a dryer one on the vent one by the fire/drum and one sometimes just for fun. Make sure you follow the wires and check all of them

The three short beeps could be part of the fault code. Check the owners manual and there are diagnostic sheets on the inside of the machine. I cannot find this fault code in my data base. What is the Model and Serial Number of your Dryer. Check the Power inside the machine at the power cord power connections. You should have 120V from both power terminals to the common terminal. There should be 240 Volts across the main power terminal. Another quest replaced the power cord. Hope to hear some good news soon.
