SOURCE: my vibe 286 4000 watt lanzar amp wont stay on..

Check your speaker load. It probably should be 4 ohms per channel. Also, if you are bridging then you must double your ohms load. It may be that your old amp could tolerate a lower impedence (ohms load) than the new amp. Do this now so you don't fry your amp. Good luck.

Set your multimeter to DC volts. Place the black lead on the ground terminal of the amp. Place the red lead alternately on the B+ and remote terminals. Both of the terminals must have 11+ volts. If the voltage is low on either of the terminals, follow it back to determine why the voltage is low. If the voltage is low on both of them, you may have a bad ground.

The ground needs to be connected to the floorpan of the vehicle. Scrape the area down to bare metal before boltting the ground lug to the floorpan.

SOURCE: amp staying in protection mode

No, this amp is not a heavy power consumer- matter of fact it takes very little power to run.Maybe you should check the fuses on the amp to see if they are what is recommended. Also check your fuse kit to your amp- your fuse might not be big enough. If neither works take it back where u got it.

SOURCE: my amp wont go past protect mode

I had the same problem. be sure to change all transistors cause once one goes the rest useally goes right along with it... replaceing one or two transistors will not do the trick, cause once you power up again the rest of them will go, & you will have to repeat the prosses

How do i reset my 4000 watt lanzar vibe 286 from being in protect mode

You can only reset it by disconnecting power to it. If it is in protect you may want to check your speakers and speaker wires for shorts and/or grounds. If they check out all right you may have internal problems in the amp.

Dropped me a red flashlight. The problem is ?

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Time to get yourself an old school Lanzar Opti Drive amp .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. dropped-me-red-flashlight-problem-shonxoarcym4awy4zl1imx4o-2-0.jpg Lanzar

My protect light is on amp no go

disconnect the power wire from it for a minute then reconnect.

Make sure the speakers are wired to an ohm load the amp can handle to prevent protection mode again.

Lanzar Vibe 1200D protection light

You will need to show it to a service technician as it seems the output section has blown so it remains in protect mode. One reason (could be) that the input to the amp was high and may have been clipping for some time before the amp decided it could take it no more
