Check your speaker load. It probably should be 4 ohms per channel. Also, if you are bridging then you must double your ohms load. It may be that your old amp could tolerate a lower impedence (ohms load) than the new amp. Do this now so you don't fry your amp. Good luck.

Set your multimeter to DC volts. Place the black lead on the ground terminal of the amp. Place the red lead alternately on the B+ and remote terminals. Both of the terminals must have 11+ volts. If the voltage is low on either of the terminals, follow it back to determine why the voltage is low. If the voltage is low on both of them, you may have a bad ground.
The ground needs to be connected to the floorpan of the vehicle. Scrape the area down to bare metal before boltting the ground lug to the floorpan.

No, this amp is not a heavy power consumer- matter of fact it takes very little power to run.Maybe you should check the fuses on the amp to see if they are what is recommended. Also check your fuse kit to your amp- your fuse might not be big enough. If neither works take it back where u got it.

I had the same problem. be sure to change all transistors cause once one goes the rest useally goes right along with it... replaceing one or two transistors will not do the trick, cause once you power up again the rest of them will go, & you will have to repeat the prosses
