SOURCE: Can't Print on Card

I had the same problem with my 3 year old HP Officejet 5610. Feeding heavy paper or white card stock would result in a paper jam. The card stock would start to feed, but then stop half way. The pinch rollers seemed to spin without advancing the paper, even if the paper was fed one sheet at a time.

Solution: Clean the rubber pinch rollers with isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Partial disassembly/reassembly required.

To access the rollers, remove the scanner plate:
1. Disconnect power, USB, and phone cables.
2. Open up the scanner sheet feeder by tilting it left.
3. Unlatch the scanner scanner feeder so that it opens completely vertical. Latch is on front hinge only.
4. Remove the 4 corner hex screws on the scanner plate. Remove the 2 hex screws on the sheet feeder. (I used a small flat blade screw driver in the hex heads)
4. Lift the plate and sheet feeder away from printer box. Disconnect the 2 flat cable wires from the circuit board.
5. Scrub rubber pinch rollers with alcohol on a swab. Dry thoughly.
6. Reassemble. (NOTE: This is a good time to clean the underside of the glass plate and the scanner head)

SOURCE: Ink not printing the same image quality that is on computer

Issue When printing directly from a memory card, the printouts have an abnormally high red tone.
NOTE: This does not affect the prints that were originally sent from the computer. Solution Press the Photo Fix button to turn off the Photo Fix feature before printing from a memory card. Cause The Photo Fix feature was originally designed to reduce/enhance printed pictures by making colors more vibrant. However, it can also have a side-effect to make some prints have more red tone than desired. In the HP Photosmart D7100 series printer, this feature is “ON” by default.

How to insert SD card in photo smart printer 385

Not all SD cards work in a printer. The SD must Fit properly to start. If it is the proper fit, make certain it is a Formatted Card with the ability to read and write data. If you have data on the card, try it first in a card reader on a computer to see if the SD is active and working. Make certain the Card Reader on the printer is setup as per the manual. Check your manual for instructions and also the checklist of Problems.

Memory card error

view & print button is used for viewing the content in the memory card if it is inserted in your printer. If you are giving job from computer and it is not getting printed try the following steps.

1. check the cable between computer and printer.
2. check the printer queue ( see a printer icon on the right bottom of the screen near time). if it is there double click and check whether any document is pending in the queue. if so cancel all pending job and restart the computer and try printing again.

Can i print from my computer without the usb 2.0 cable

To print documents from your computer you will need to have it connected via USB. If you just want to print pictures you can load them on to an SD card (or any of the other supported cards for this printer), plug the card into the printer's card reader and print directly from the printer.

If you want to be able to print without using USB you should look into wireless printers such as the Kodak ESP 7250.

How do i play whats on the memory card nothing plays video only audio. or what do i need to convert it

First, make sure you have it on CARD (and not DISK), and on the "playback" (and not record) mode. Next, does the camera play back other video clips normally, but just not a specific clip ?
Does the selected video clip frame (index) shown on the LCD screen have a picture ? If not, i.e. it is blank (dark), then it is likely that no video was recorded (i.e. just the audio) when you were shooting that video clip.
If there is a picture (of the video clip frame index on the LCD screen) and only audio is playing, try downloading the clip (from the SD card) to your computer, or simply try to play the video on the SD card (inserted directly into your SD card reader on your computer, or via a USB SD card reader) and see if the video clip will play normally on your computer.

Printer wont read SD cards does read sony memory

If it does not seat (fit) properly, why say the printer will not read SD cards? It certainly will read SD cards that are supported. You can still upload to computer and print from there as you suggested.

Cannot copy photos from my SD card

If the printer is connected to your PC with the USB cable then as soon as you insert the SD card in the slot it acts as a drive. Open up "My Computer" and search for the new drive (e.g. E: or I:). You can explore the SD card as you would with your hard drive and you can copy the photos on the SD card to your computer as you would normally copy files.

I have a HP Photosmart 7160 and a brand new Fujifilm digital camera. I took 4 pictures and tried to print photos. When I place the SD 4GB card in it reads "memory card error" on the printer. What do I do...

You are using a new camera with an old printer.
Check the following:
- Try using a 1 to 2 GB SD card. The printer may not be able to hande one this size.
- Try taking a photo, in a smaller resolution, and save as JPG.
- Try plugging in the camera to the printer and print from the camera.
And the best option, is to transfer your photos to your computer, and print from there.
Take a look at a program called "Thumbs Plus" it has worked well for me. http://www.cerious.com/

Printer will not read SD card from Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ3

Put the card in an adapter or in your computer. Make sure the pictures are not in folders. The printer is unable to read them if they are.
Also, the file size of the picture cannot be over 8 MB and the image size has to be below 12 megapixels.
