SOURCE: Kodak V550 Camera Problems

I contacted the Kodak repair centre in Australia, they recommended I return the camera for repair. A week later I received an email stating they couldn't repair it and were willing to exchange for a different model. The new camera arrived and has been working fine, but I feel the quality of Kodak digital cameras are lacking compared to other brands. I wouldn't buy a Kodak again.

SOURCE: Kodak Z812 shuts off automatically

It is a high-powered camera, also knows as a GREAT camera. Use CRV-3 lithium duracell batteries. I have the same camera and the same "problem", but when I use that battery it lasts forever.

SOURCE: battery will not stay charged after being fully charged

Hi,

How old is the battery?
These happen when battery becomes weak/faulty.

If the battery is new, ask for replacement.
If old, time to get new.

Thanks

SOURCE: I have the EASYSHARE M1033 Digital Camera

Mine did this as well. I now have it plugged into my PC with the usb cord. I think the ac charger that came with the camera is not functioning. Try charging it from your PC.

SOURCE: Have Kodak easyshare Z740 camera, turn on and goes

Remove the batteries and clean the battery contacts inside the camera with a soft cloth (a heavy buildup on the contacts may require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that the cleaning leaves in the camera, and then reinstall the batteries. This clears most power-on problems, but if yours persists, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

Htc evo 4g turned off and wont turn back on and is flashing orange and green lights

That ussually means the battery is overheating! Take the battery out and wait 30 minute to put back in, but don't turn the phone on. Start charging it again, and if it continues to flash, take it to your provider IMEDIATLY!

I have a coolpix and I spilled orange juice on it. I imediatly cleaned and dried it off but when I would try to turn it on...nothing. It's been a few months I tried to turn it on and it says battery...

First off, are you sure that the battery is charged? It is definitely possible that spilling orange juice on it messed it up, but it might be all right.
Assuming the battery is charged, it is likely that the spill caused some internal damage. When you spilled on it, did you open the battery door, take the battery out, and allow the the camera to air-dry completely before turning it on? If you didn't, it is almost surely fried. If you didn't allow it to air-dry, it is likely that there was residual moisture and liquid on the internal components, and when you powered it on you likely messed them up. This is really a repair that is not worth paying for, as the cost of a new camera would be much cheaper.

I turn the camera on and it turns its self off imediatly

Make sure the battery is charged. If it has been plugged in for a while and still doesn't work, you probably need a new battery.

When I turn my digital camera on it turns off immediately. Why?

Try connecting your camera to the computer while the battery is out, i know that your camera support USB charging, then turn on the camera while conencted to the computer, if the camera turn on it means the battery is no longer working. And if still wont turn on, maybe there something wrong with the camera. Call kodak for assistance. or visit www.kodak.com/go/itg for online troubleshooting.

Camera does not turn on.

I had a similar problem and it was a result of the battery not charging correctly. I bought the travel battery charger and an additional battery from amazon to see if maybe the battery was just old or just not charging. I figured out that the internal camera charging mechanism just wasn't working b/c the battery charged fine with the travel charger. I like the travel charger better and with two batteries I can charge one while the other is in use. I haven't had a problem since. When you buy the new battery you still have to charge it before it's first use. I hope this works for you as it did for me.
