LCD 19" monitor color sttings guide for me - ViewSonic VX924 19" LCD Monitor

    I have bought a new viewsonic 19" wide screen monitor for my desktop with xp professional os. I am getting a display of "no signal" and unable to boot my pc. I am able to use the monitor when I boot from cd drive. I need your assitance to resolve the problem. Thank you.-Ravindranath

Threr is a control button in the below of the monitor
so u can ajust it from here or can reset it and degaus it.

This is likely to be a power supply issue. If you find any capacitors with bulging tops then they need to be replaced. Also check for dry joints.

Red or pinkish cast on the whole screen? You may want to check the VGA connectors and pins at both ends. Also try it with anothe PC to make sure it is not video problem in the PC.

My Acer AL1916W LCD does not show full color. The half of the screen show one color while the other half display normal color that am expecting. I don't know how to correct it. I have use the setting...
More likely to have failing T-CON board which is part of the LCD panel assembly, you can try reseating the ribbon cable attached to the LCD panel's T-CON board first, otherwise new panel will be needed.

Image flashes off and on. When image finally returns, it appears to "wash" white with a few random colors. The configuration menu will not appear and auto config has no effect

Shaded areas on my X2gen 19 inch monitor do not Show up.
It sounds like the PC video color setting is at 16 instead of 24 or 32 bit color setup. You need to check the display properties setting on the PC (Right click on the desk top). Also try it on other PC and also check the VGA cable.

White screen at startup
Hello,

The white screen is caused by the power supply board not providing the correct voltages to the display driver board. Check our web site at: www.ccl-la.com We have repair guides for many LCD monitors and there is a guide that will work for your LT982 monitor. Acer AL1916W 19" LCD Monitor color has changed to blue
Hey Buddy
My AL1916W was having same problem, its due to faulty IFB which cannot save colors after pressing reset, get it replaced from acer, if its in warranty, acer will replace ur LCD within a week.

ACER LCD monitor no image, appears white color only
Quickly go to the Acer website and check FAQ's and while there also find out how to get an RMA to return it. My guess is you have a bad monitor. At $200 roughly for a replacement I would hustle. I am assuming you got nothing but a white screen but did get video on your TV.
