I have had the same issue with a Westinghouse 50 inch LED TV. I believe it is not the power supply but the HDMI input. You can temporarily work around by plugging your primary source into the other HDMI. You may also get some relief by using the Westy remote, finding the TV menu, then selecting (Option) (Restore All). There may be an arcane procedure to reset the HDMI.
sounds like av main board in back of tv try factory reset or make sure tv is off 10 mins then open back up try giving it hoover sounds daft but a lot of problems happen dust nothink to lose hope it helps mark google how tofactory reset and then make model of you tv should find help try same youtube videos
i have the same problem. i think they just get old, i solved the audio problem by taking the cove off the back and disconnecting the speakers, i now just use PC speakers, works grand. i haven't solved the HDMI problem yet..
One possibility is that the mute switches on your speakers have oxydized contacts INSIDE the switch - this kind of malfunction mostly occurs when the equipment is exposed to moisture and/or smog.
The most common solution is to change both switches, but they can also be disassembled and cleaned up (which is a bit more complicated and time consuming).
Another possibility is a dried up filter capacitor in the power supply or somewhere in the preamplifier section, possibly also a bad preamplifier chip but if your speakers work fine (with the exception of the mute switch noise), then the problem is more likely with the switches.
Also, check the internal connectors for any dirt, broken wires or desoldered pins.
Could also be something else, you should know i'm only assuming on the possibilities and i'm listing the most common problems i've encountered so far.
in my car when I press the accelerator there is hissing sound, did check the air filter by disconnecting the plumbing but still the sound is present any idea what could be causing this sound.
check audio cables wiggle them around if no difference in sound check other inputs if they all crackle call for service it sould be under warranty probably in the speakers or the input board
