Power Light, Pulsating Level Control, Blows Fuses

Same Problem here... Sounded great on our boat for several years. Now, following winter storage, fired up the system and fuse blew. Replaced fuse, checked all connections, power light comes on, remote level light fades in/out for couple seconds at a time, and NO SOUND from this $300 pc of ****. After roughly 5-10 minutes things must heat up, as the fuse blows and that smokey smell appears once again. I suspected my upstream Sony amp, but now I suspect the Infinity A-slink sub since I read about everyone else's problems. It was great while it lasted.

I just got a new boat this summer and I live in Seattle, where I will use my boat year round. I have been told that I should winterize the motor so it doesn't freeze in the lower temperatures. What should...

I used to live in the Chicago area. We definitely had winter (below zero).I went thru extensive winterization for the inboards and stern drives. I fogged outboards and put Sta-bil in the gas. I also ran the gas out of the carbs or drained them but the boats would sit unused for 6 months. Does the boat stay in the water? If on a trailer, lower the motor so it is in the run (trim down) and the water will run out. If you tilt it up after this for storage, cover the gear case as it can fill with rain water and freeze.

Have a 2001 road king as soon as I turn on the ignition switch the 15A fuse for the horn turn signals brake light front fender marker light speedometer blows any help would be greatly appreciated I didn't...

you have a hot wire grounding out somewhere do the simple things first you may need a couple of fuses but it save you alot so you do not have to take it somewhere to get fixed , start with the horn ,usally it would be the fender light or brake light do them first , disconnect it then put the fuse back in and see if it blows , then so on to save some fuses take the bulbs out of the turn signals and put one back in at a time to see if it blows this is the best way and easiest way to find your short ,

I have a 2008 ar230 yamaha jet boat after winterizing it will not turn on or acknowledge that it is working. "Dead" Never had a problem before. No fuses out that I can see. Whats a fix ?

Sounds like the battery to me. How did you winterize it? was the fuel empty? was the battery disconnected and re-charged? It could be several problems, but easy to diagnose. need more clarification

1996 Mercury 150 Nitro EFI outboard- just bought the boat, running fine on the lake for about 35 min. Motor is 2 stroke- oil injected, oil tank is full. While running at partial throttle, an alarm...

Dont have the manual in front of me...recollect that there's two types of warnings. The pulsating warning is oil (starts with 30 minutes of oil left) or the fuel filter (or sperator, something like that) may have water in it. Running outboard with cover off, is a little black box that would have a red light lit if that's the case. If oil full & no red light, may be oil injection system...would also check to make sure lines aren't pinched, etc. Mine has been specific to oil the two times its gone off.

The full non-pulsating is engine overheat. Not sure beyond that.

Not much, but hopefully gets you going.

Clarion M5675 won't turn on

Take the stereo all the way out and hook the black wire to the negative terminal and the yellow and the red wire to the positive terminal on a charged car battey. If it still does not turn on you may have fuse in the back of the deck. If not it's probably fried.

Frozen out the game.

Do the lamps ( 33/45, strobe, pitch at 0, pop up light ) light up when you turn them on. Was the storage climate controlled?
