Hi my Epson L365 printer has a red flashing light on the control panel for ink and paper , the machine has ink and paper but will not print at all can you help

Epson 7010 all lights flashing & won't print

Epson printer blinking different lights. The different lights blinking has different meaning and solutions. When the Epson printer red light blinking that means ink cartridge of your printer is out of ink. And when your printer green light blinking that means paper gets jammed inside the printer.

The red and green lights are flashing continously and it won print

The lights continually flashing indicate a paper jam or the printer being out of ink. Check/clear any paper jam and verify the ink cartidge is set correctly.

I replaced the blue catridge and now both red

If the red lights are flashing simultaneously, it means that there is something blocking the printhead from moving. check if all inks are installed properly and the ink carriage cover is closed tight. If both red lights are flashing alternately,it means that the waste ink pad is full and needs to be replaced. This part is not user replaceable so you need to take in the printer for service.

2 RED LIGHTS FLASHING CARRAIGE WILL NOT MOVE

On the Epson printer two flashing red lights mean that your printers waste ink tank is full and Epson has locked your printer you need to replace the waste ink pads and then reset your printer using the reset utilities

shellnbarry, As I stated in a previous post the red light flashing means an ink cartrdge is low but not empty. When the red light stays on it means an ink cartridge is empty. You can continue to use the printer until the red light stays on.

if you know how to open the unit, try fixing its ventilation. flashing bulb light sometimes mean an occurance of overheating. try to clean all the fans and the air vent.

Flashing red light & noise

It means that the ink counter needs resetting and the waste inkpad changing/cleaned. The Epson website will give you the address of a local service centre. Before paying out for that you could see if the SSC Service Utility would work for you although the R265 is not specifically listed as supported it is similar to the R270 which is.
