Print isn't clear. Can I align the heads ?

This is an HP3180 all in one and when I print the color doesn't stack properly so it looks like almost double or a shadow.

Why won't my machine print in color

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

Epson stylus photo r300 removed print head, flushed out all nozzels with water, dried everything, reasembled everything, including the flat ribbons, two different times. After dozens of times trying to...

If an inkjet printer has not been used for some time and several print head cleaning has been done and it still does not print properly then the nozzles in the print head are blocked.
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent nozzles blocking with dried ink.
You need to replace the print head to get the printer functioning again.
But these print heads are expensive to replace, it may be better to buy a better and a later model printer for not much more costs.

Epson Stylus CX4800 prints blurred pictures

ok..first you will need to print the nozzle check and see if all the color are printed out fine.. this feature is under the printer properties , under the utility tab.... assuming all your colors nozzle are printed fine..then the next thing for you to do is do the Print Head Alignment.. it's under the same place where you print the nozzle check.. when you press the Print Head Alignment, it will print a page out with many lines.. choose the one with the best alignment.. once u done that..try printing the image again..
oh..if your nozzle check print out is not good.. then you will need to perform head cleaning to clear the clogged head..

My HP C6150 prints pictures fine but the text is incomplete. I have tried different ink cartridges and have cleaned print head and done a cartridge alignment. What else is there?

1. During the cleaning of the print heads you probably clog some of the jets that distribute the ink.
If you didn't use the proper cleaning procedure you may have damaged the print heads.
the color heads are probably not affected therefore the pictures prints come out clear.

HP C7280 does not print straight, ie the print is angled on page

There is no way that a printer prints out of alignment unless the paper slips enroute. Meaning that the rollers are not holding the paper tight and the guides not pressing the paper snugly, as you put it. So, it could either be the rollers not aligned to each other properly or the guides not pressing the paper equally. The print head moves on a steel rod which is straight. So that can not be the culprit as the print head has to move in a straight line, irrespective of the paper being straight or slipped. So, that leaves us with the slipping paper for which there are the rollers and the guides. If you feel that the tension in the guides is not equal, then change the guides, else the rollers need a closer look. Or at least clean them with a damp soft cloth and allow them to dry up before using them.
