SOURCE: AC not producing cool air

If this is a newer system there will be a freeze sensor. It may be low on refrigerant. I would check the obvious things first. Are the filters and coils free of debris? Finally only set the temperature to your comfortable temp not lower as this can cause freezing too (generally not below 70 degrees)

SOURCE: LG SPLIT SYSTEM AC.

Fixed fault by not only switching off AC unit at power point, had to pull out plug top & lead from wall for one minute. This must allow electronics to reset.

SOURCE: LG split AC keeps displaying CO and wont't turn off with remote.

The "CO" indicates cleaning operation and can be switched of via remote button under flap, labelled AUTO CLEAN.

SOURCE: we have LG spilt AC

There will be manual butting near the display. Lift the front cover and you can see. But no option to change mode or setting temp. It's strictly advisable to buy new remote.Thanks.

Reverse or open phase. Check all 3 phases are present and correct. If correct voltage appears at all three phases, swap any two to cure the fault. Thanks. Helpful?

How can i either modify my AC unit to work without a remote control or program a different remote control to be able to switch settings on my AC unit

What type of unit? Most units can be hard wired to a regular thermostat but you will need the owners manual to reset the program in the circuit board. The manual can be downloaded from the internet.

I've got one single 12000 btu ac unit and one double 24000 btu unit and three wall units controled by 3 remote controls.Recently one of the remotes stoped to work.I've changed the batteries(were...

Taking apart the hand held remote won't serve any real purpose as none of the parts inside are replaceable. Since you have 3 different units, with 3 different hand held remote. I'm wondering, if perhaps, you're using the wrong remote on that one unit. As each one has a different remote code.
In addition, I have learned from experience, that if the display screen on the hand held works, the problem is not in the hand held. Now, that's not to say, Operator Error can't play a role in it. But, most times, it's the receiver in the unit, that may be causing the problem. Or the hand held is to far away or something is blocking the signal in between.

Almost every appliance we sell, has a radio frequency remote control. The most problems we incur is with weak or dead batteries or operator error. The problem with batteries is that you don't now how long they sat in a warehouse, before making to a retail outlet and then how long they sat on the shelves there, before they were sold. They may have enough power to activate the handheld remote, but not enough to transmit a strong signal. So, check the strength of the new batteries you installed.

Hope this helps and thanks for choosing FixYa.

No remote control will it run without remote

Well the fuse is ok if it lights up. Could be a stuck button. The ac does not need the remote to make it go. press the mode button and move the lights to the cool selection and set the temp below 70. It should kick on. You might have to go a bit deeper. The next thing I would check is for a leaking capacitor. If it leaks then nothing will happen.

AC comes on and stays on until you move the setting up to around 90. At times the unit will not cut off no matter what setting you choose. If it cuts off at 90 after manually moving it there, you only have...

If the house is actually cooling, but the thermostat thinks in 90 degrees in there, you definitely need a new thermostat. If the house is actually 90 degrees, the AC SHOULD cycle on and stay on till it reaches the preset temperature. Since it doesn't make sense that you would complain about the AC cycling on at 90 degrees, I can only conclude that you have a faulty thermostat.
