Question about Pioneer AVIC-N1 Car DVD Player

Mute function on Pioneer AVIC-N1

I purchased a car with a Pioneer AVIC-N1 Nav-DVD (etc) system and now the mute function is locked and no way out, and obviously no sound. DVD works, CD does too, and so does the radio (I think) but NO SOUND. Have the manuals, but no data discs or install discs.

You have to isolate yellow-black cabel. This cabel was in contact with earth and it was the reason, why you have Mute on the display.

Panasonic gps screen dead
Disc would not of killed the entire unit, it may of clogged up the laser eye where it reads the disc. Use canned air or shop air and throughly blow out the unit. If problem persists contact Panasonic for replacement or repair.
