Phone is displaying DHCP:discovery boot ver 02.01.00.04. Mitel phone was working perfectly until router changed to BT Hub. What can I do to resolve it?

You can download the TNA analyzer to test ports. Or your router is not giving dhcp to the phone. You can try to statically assign an IP address to. The phone.

My zebra 105 se wont print using RS232 serial cable

Make sure the serial dip switch settings match your com port on the computer. You need a null modem cable or adapter.

Our tec b-472 qp only blinks the online green led when a job is sent to the printer but does not print. we have set up printer with proper driver from Toshiba and are using serial cable 25 to 9 pin. Serial...

The serial cable for the Tec printer must be wired straight through (not a crossover cable). Are you using the original cable that came with the printer? Do you still have the manual? there are some dip switches in the top right hand corner of the inside of the printer that control the serial port settings. If you have the manual and look in there check that they are set to default settings.

IBM 4610 suremark receipt printer

Hello all,

had the same problem and my solution was to install the latest driver available at the IBM service/driver website. Then unistall it with another IBM driver cleaning tool, then repeat both processes a couple of times, until the printer responded. There is some bug on these latest drivers an older Windows versions, so only after some installations and repairs on the first install, windows gets it right. VERY STRANGE but it worked in 2 machines, both IBM terminal and 4610-tf6 IBM printer.

By the way; RS232 ibm cable...I believe its a null modem 9 pin...not a regular serial cable.
Dip pin config: my printers have 4 so; 1ON 2ON 3OFF 4OFF which means
1 size of paper you are using 80mm
2 if you use an IBM software or other:other
3 if xon/off or DTR/DSR:hardware
4 com speed: 9600baud or 19200baud, 9600

That's what I igured out. If you need any more info: mail

We are trying to set up to run locally on a serial port

The serial port parameters are set from the front panel.

Hit the "Setup" button, then hit the "Next" button (many times) until you reach the Serial Port parameters. You'll be prompted for a password before you get there. The default is "1234", entered with the "Plus and Minus" buttons.

Use the "Plus" and "Minus" button to make changes.

When finished, use the "Exit" button. Select "Permanent" changes and hit the "Save" button.

Problems with e800BT and com ports

I use an e830 with a Holux GR230 without having any problems. The e830 uses already the latest stack from Toshiba so no need to upgrade. For the e800, hm depends on what kind of BT SD card you use, meanwhile Toshiba sells the BT SD3 card. Anyway, I would recommend to use the latest BT stack from Toshiba for your Toshiba BT SD card.

Com port

IR port --> in AS just go to "file\connection settings" then tick in the checkbox "enable connection serial cable or IR to this COM port" and choose from the drop down menu "IR port" BT port --> go to the BT manager on your PC, then "advanced config" and click onn thee nail "local services" - double click on the "BT Serial Port" and you will be prompted to the "properties" window that gives you a drop-down menu where you can choose the # of the COM port. You can also edit numbers in the System REgistry, but this requires proper care. I think the foregoing is sufficient for you
